Our Recreational Soccer program is open to players ages 5 through 17 and is designed for both beginners and experienced players who want to enjoy the game in a fun, supportive environment. This is a great way to learn the fundamentals of soccer, stay active, and make friends—no tryouts or experience required!


New this season:We're excited to offer all-girls teams for both practices and games, providing girls with the opportunity to play and develop in an all-female team environment while enjoying the same fun, recreational experience.

Program Highlights:


​Cost- $150 before August 1. Price includes your jersey.

  • Super Starters-Open to boys and girls ages 3-4 
  • Sun Lights - for players needing developmental support
  • Recreational Soccer- Open to boys and girls ages 5- 18
  • All-Girls Teams available in U6, U8, and U9–U11 age groups
  • Girls Mini-Division featuring four teams for practices and games
  • Focus on skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork

IMPORTANT PROGRAM UPDATES

• U6–U11 Age Divisions

  • Girls will automatically be placed on all-girls teams.
  • Players may choose to participate on a co-ed team instead by selecting that option during registration.
  • All-girls teams will compete against other all-girls teams in practices and games.
  • Co-ed teams will compete against other co-ed teams.


• U14–High School Age Divisions

  • All teams will be co-ed.
  • Sports physicals are not required.

Fall Registration closed August 1.

AGE GROUPING:
We group players by league age to ensure fair and age-appropriate play.

The U in each age groups means UNDER. Players will need to be under that age at the start of the season.

Example- U6 = under 6 at the start of the season

SUPER STARTERS Division:
Ages 3, 4,  and not yet 5 by July 2022.


U6 Division:
Ages 4, 5, and not yet 6 by July 2021.


U8 Division:
Ages 6,  7, and not yet 8 by July 2019.


U10 Division:
Ages 8,  9, and not yet 10 by July 2016.


U12 Division:
Ages 10,  11, and not yet 12 by July 2014.


U14 Division:
Ages 12,  13, and not yet 14 by July 2012.


High School Division:
Ages 14, 15, 16, and 17  

Please note: We do not offer above U18 division. Players aging out are encouraged to join our Adult League on the BigSun Soccer website.

We are under a new age grouping rule starting Fall 2026. Seasonal year model is shifting age groups. If you have questions, please consult the calculator on our website.

Field Location & Schedule Update


U14 division games will be played on Friday evenings at the Rotary Sports Complex during the fall season. This schedule provides a fun, competitive atmosphere under the lights while helping accommodate weekend family schedules. Tentative game times- 6:15pm, 7:30pm


High School division games will be played on Saturday mornings at the Rotary Sports Complex. Moving high school games to Saturdays allows players to participate in school activities and other Friday night school events, while also helping ensure referee availability. Tentative game times- 9:30am, 11:00am

U6- U12 games will all be played at the Sporting Big Sun Complex on Saturday mornings. Games will range from 9:30am, 10:45am, and 12pm.

Jamboree:

2 mini games for each team

- U14 plays FRIDAY, August 28 @Rotary

- U6- U12 plays Saturday, August 29 @Big Sun

Practice Times

Players may choose in their registration which practice days best fit their schedule- Monday/ Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.

  • Practice times are chosen by coaches. 5:30pm, 6:00pm, 6:30pm, or 7:00pm start time.
  • Most practices run for 1 hour. Older divisions have practice for 1 1/2 hours.
